NEW Sportsman Open 322 Centre Console Just Listed

Sportsman pitch the 322 as an all-inclusive centre console in a 32-foot package, and the phrase is fair. At 9.8 metres with a 3.3-metre beam and 23 degrees of transom deadrise, it has the hull to run offshore properly, and 1,249 litres of fuel behind 900 horsepower to make the trip worth making.

The fishing layout is the most complete in the middle of the range. Twin pressurised 114-litre aquarium livewells with viewing glass sit at the transom. Dual insulated, macerated 227-litre in-deck fish boxes flank the leaning post, which itself carries a freshwater sink, removable cutting board and cooler compartment. Add two 114-litre midship storage boxes, two large insulated bow fish boxes, six flush-mount Gemlux gunwale rod holders and six under-gunwale racks, and there is nowhere on this boat where tackle or catch has to go on the floor.

Family duty is handled just as deliberately. The console opens to an enclosed head with an electric porcelain toilet, holding tank and a pull-out shower and sink, a genuine private changing space, not a token compartment. Forward, an electronically actuated sun deck and table convert the bow between dining, lounging and clear casting deck, with a removable filler board and bow backrests.

The hardtop carries a panoramic seamless windscreen for better than 35 per cent visibility, sits on a six-leg D-tube frame, and mounts Lumitec Razor light bars front and rear. SportLink delivers Garmin displays, JL Audio and digital switching factory-integrated across NMEA 2000. A Seakeeper pod is built into the stringer system, and a second station is available.
