Selling a Yanmar 4JH4-HTE (110HP, turbocharged/intercooled) marine diesel engine package paired with a ZF 30M mechanical marine gearbox.
This unit was recently removed during a repower upgrade. It has logged ~3,000 hours of service.
Engine Condition:
o Starting: Starts first time, every time without fail. Never missed a beat while in service.
o Performance: Runs smoothly through the rev range. Only blows a little smoke at higher RPMs.
o Reason for sale/Notes: The engine has some visible crankcase blow-by, which is the primary reason it was upgraded rather than overhauled in the boat. It is an ideal candidate for a ring/seal refresh or a bench rebuild.
Gearbox Condition (ZF 30M):
o Included with the engine.
o Note: The clutch pack was starting to slip slightly when pushed under heavy load. Will require a routine service/clutch disc replacement.
