A cost-effective entry-level boat that makes the same hourly rate as much more expensive catamarans.
1d Survey is a bonus for beyond Sydney Harbour, such as Jervis Bay, Whitsundays, Gold Coast, Hervey Bay etc.
For Queensland she could make a great liveaboard business.
Twin WM Marine Kubota 28 hp motors and instruments. She has all new sails in 2020 with lazy boom bag. Sails are by Barracouta, fully battened high cut main, Genoa and cutter rig staysail, trimmed with black UV. They are rarely used on charters so are in superb condition.
Seabird Seven has travelled to and from the Gold Coast, where she had some refitting done at Boatworks, including new stainless fuel tank, new strainers, new exhaust risers, new anchor and chain. This was one of the few times the sails were used.
The covered rear deck allows the show to go on even if it rains, with an amplified sound system and 4 speakers.
There is a bbq, a large eski for byo drinks and an icebox in the saloon for food or more drinks.
"Seabird Seven" is reliable, economical and with dual engines, simple to drive. She offers an entry level price to running your own business, but very respectable returns compared to much more expensive boats. The customers love her for her teak character and huge spaces. Feedback to the booking agents from customers has been consistently high
Just successfully completed 'Transport for NSW Plan of management for Waste'. Certificate available.
Upcoming 5-year cycle for AMSA survey. Renewal of 5-year survey will be included in sale as well as new antifoul.
Demand for New Years Eve from 3 booking agents. Normally $10k after commission, you can set your own rate.
