GBB Aluminium Fishing Boat

We are excited to bring to market, "Elusive" - one of the best performing Geraldton Boat Builders x Southerly Designs vessels ever built. This is the first hull to adopt the curved brow flybridge structure. Custom designed and built with carbon fibre by the owner when she was launched who remains the same owner today.

If you don't recognise the name of the vessel, you should know the photo - famously taken out at big bank punching through huge seas at speed (see last photo).

When we took our drone footage and conducted our pre-sale sea trial, the conditions were 25 knots and 4m seas. The vessel comfortably performed at 23 knots from the moment we left the harbour. Simply put, this boat handled the ocean with ease.

Capacity for 46 coffin baskets across 2 live tanks with aeration to all tanks. 3 Ebara pumps forward, 1 Ebara pump mid and 2 additional Onga pumps available (not currently fitted, in working order). The vessel has deck rating capacity for 150 pots loaded on deck. We have AMSA approved stability booklet available for all genuine purchasers.

The 1000HP Caterpillar C18 main engine has approximately 10,000 hours from new and has always been extremely well maintained. There is a Caterpillar 2.2T generator for running 240V systems. We welcome any prospective purchaser to have a mechanic investigate the engineering systems and are confident with their current condition. The electronics are well set up with redundancies across the board.

Cruise, work and fish in comfort with the well-appointed galley featuring a 5-seater dinette, fridge, plenty of dry storage and overnight accommodation for 4 crew. Featuring a large 5,300L fuel capacity, this vessel is well and truly set up for extended voyages in all forms of work or play.
