GBRMPA Tourist Permit to operate a Tourism and Hire Programme in the Mackay / Capricorn Management areas. Including Great Keppel Island and surrounding islands plus Yeppoon
Conduct of a Tourist Program - being:
a Vessel Operation - using Vessel 1, Vessel 2 and Vessel 3 with a maximum passenger capacity of 100
passengers across all permissions and using ancillary vessels.
an Aircraft Operation - using Aircraft 1 with a maximum passenger capacity of 100 passengers across all
permissions.
a Guided Tour Operation - including the provision of transport and services to persons other than tourists and
using non-motorised equipment and motorised equipment, with a maximum passenger capacity of 100 passengers
across all permissions.
a Hire Operation - including the continued use and servicing of hire equipment for the duration of hire, the hire of
equipment to persons other than tourists and the hire of that equipment from a location within the Marine Parks
and using non-motorised equipment, motorised equipment and rescue vessels with a maximum passenger
capacity of 100 passengers across all permissions.
Operation of a Facility - being 10 temporary marker buoys including building, assembling, fixing in position,
maintaining or demolishing such a facility.
Conduct of a Charter Operation - being:
a Vessel Charter Operation - including the provision of transport and services to persons other than tourists
using Vessel 1, Vessel 2 and Vessel 3 with a maximum passenger capacity of 100 passengers across all
permissions and using ancillary vessels.
an Aircraft Charter Operation - including the provision of transport and services to persons other than tourists
using Aircraft 1 with a maximum passenger capacity of 100 passengers across all permissions.
EQUIPMENT NOTIFICATION APPROVAL (ENA)
In accordance with the conditions of your Marine Parks permit, the Managing Agencies give approval
for the use of the following equipment under permit G23/48339.1.
