Alexander Marine Australia are pleased to present the 2007 Cheoy Lee 66 Motor Yacht 'Lady Peggy' to the market as worldwide central agents.

Presented to the market fresh from significant recent upgrades, 'Lady Peggy' offers enhanced functionality and a refined onboard experience. Beneath her high-volume layout lies a highly capable platform engineered to handle demanding conditions with confidence. Her full-displacement design delivers exceptional seakeeping and efficiency, while her proven long-range abilities open the door to serious passage-making, whether that's exploring Australia's remote coastlines or venturing much farther afield. Inside, her finishes are stunning, and her engineering pedigree is evident throughout, underscored by Cheoy Lee's over 150-year history in commercial vessel construction.

Entry up onto the cockpit is via a teak treaded staircase from the swim platform, or from side access gates to both port and starboard (to which a collapsible ladder can be attached). The cockpit, which is teak laid, has a curved fixed bench seat installed from the centre out to the portside. A high gloss teak table complements the bench seat. Additional loose deck chairs are positioned to accommodate further guests. The entire cockpit is protected from the elements by way of the hardtop overhang. Stainless steel-framed glazing separates the cockpit from the saloon.

Venturing forward, the wide teak side decks are complemented by beautiful varnished teak capped high bulwarks, which provide peace of mind for young and old shipmates as they move around the boat. Cockpit wing doors are installed on each side deck and can be closed to stop wind and rain entering the cockpit area or opened to aid ventilation. Large saloon glazing is apparent as you head toward the bow of 'Lady Peggy' providing good natural light into her interior. Further up the side decks, you approach the Portuguese bridge, which is designed to shed any green water overboard when underway.

Inside the Portuguese bridge are docking station controls to port and starboard giving excellent visibility along her gunwale profile. The foredeck itself includes two forward-facing bench seats to port and starboard (with storage under for valuable rope and deck equipment) each with comfortable upholstery, a perfect spot from which to enjoy sundowners. Her tough "ship-like" anchoring equipment dominates the very pointy end of the foredeck, with her dual vertical windlasses being connected to a sizeable chain (each 100m) and a pair of kedge pocket anchors nest into the custom made bow stainless steel anchor fascia. The anchoring equipment is all heavy duty.

Back in the cockpit you can enter the saloon via her S/S framed sliding glass door, which can be pinned at various positions to allow controlled natural ventilation. Her gloss cherry makore interior timber finishes are both attractive and timeless. The quality of her joinery includes stunning detailed inlay work in various areas which is to a very high standard. Immediately as you enter the saloon, to port, an entertainment cabinet and ample storage with a granite countertop runs the full length of the saloon. Adjacent there is an enormous L-shaped lounge settee, as well as a triangular gloss timber dining table with loose additional seating.

'Lady Peggy's' galley is spacious and well equipped, featuring granite benchtops and an Electrolux upright full-height fridge/freezer, in-fridge water filter and ice maker, and Miele appliances. Also, there is plenty of cupboard storage.

Guest accommodation onboard is segregated into the bow and stern, providing maximum separation and privacy. 'Lady Peggy' offers an impressive four cabin and four head accommodation layout, with each head having a separate shower stall. The aft accommodation comprises three cabins. As you arrive down into the aft foyer landing, you have the option of turning to starboard towards the bow, which houses the two twin-bed cabins, or turning to port towards the stern, where the master stateroom is located. Starting with the master stateroom, which occupies the full volume inside her canoe stern profile, this cabin features a centreline king-sized bed with excellent storage to both port and starboard. The head for the master cabin is located to port and forward. As the beam of the boat increases, this large space allows for two very spacious twin single cabins. The bathrooms throughout the boat feature tiled floors and stone benchtops, the build quality and high specification are easy to see. All aft cabins feature portholes for light and ventilation.

Access to the lower forward accommodation and engine room is made possible via a curved staircase beside the helm. In the bow, a spacious V-berth cabin features large single beds with well-thought-out walk up steps to your bed, with overhead cabinets and storage below. This cabin features natural light and ventilation, courtesy of an overhead hatch which also acts as an emergency exit point, and portholes are in the hull sides. The V-berth cabin has its own spacious head and a spacious separate shower stall.

In addition to the forward accommodation, 'Lady Peggy' features a large U-shaped office where all her official records are kept with plenty of bench space to make the perfect remote work station if needed. The ship's separate laundry room is found in this area including Miele Washing and Miele clothes drying machines. Adjacent is a sensational walk-in utility workshop with plenty of storage for tools and spares. Access to the engine room is via this area also.

Back on deck, forward of the saloon and galley, you enter the spacious and well-equipped segregated pilothouse which offers excellent visibility. 'Lady Peggy' is configured with a closed bulkhead pilothouse, which allows the boat to operate 24/7 while the crew can maintain normal use of the galley and saloon without interrupting the safe passage of the boat.

Buyers will be pleased to note her new Furuno electronics suite which provides the latest generation commercial quality navigational capability. Dual pilothouse doors provide ease of access out onto each side deck and lots of natural ventilation if that is your preference, otherwise the boat is completely air-conditioned should that be your preference. Docking 'Lady Peggy' is assisted by the ABT-TRAC bow thruster and 2 wing Portuguese bridge docking stations, and like most full-displacement vessels she is very well mannered when docking - a combination of her substantial weight and full keel. She can therefore be managed by a husband and wife team.

Entry up to the spacious flybridge is via the pilothouse staircase to starboard. The flybridge is enclosed with three-sided Polycarbonate clears. The centreline helm station is equipped with a full complement of new electronics and provides a great view for the skipper and navigator. Twin L-shaped settees and high gloss white fibreglass tables make this a wonderful area in which to entertain guests, with a great view! Aft of the settees you will observe a flybridge wet bar complete with sink, Miele grill & teppanyaki plate, Frost Line ice maker, a Weber BBQ and storage.

The boat's new Auroa 4.8m RIB is stowed on the elevated boat deck onto new stainless steel removable tender cradles. The tender is launched and retrieved via a 1500lbs fully hydraulic davit. Removable stanchions are installed across the aft of the boat deck to make this child-friendly and a wonderful spot for sun lovers.

Entry to the full height stand-up engine room is via a substantial watertight door. The engine room is well laid out and features a matching set of Northern Lights generators against the forward bulkhead as soon as you enter the space. 'Lady Peggy's' ever-reliable Caterpillar C7's are spaced well apart to permit the centreline installation of stacked batteries. Other notable equipment includes access to her Naiad stabiliser heads, a Sea Recovery water maker, air conditioning equipment, hot water service, dual battery charging equipment, 3kw inverter, supersize fire suppression bottle and lastly her fuel transfer pump and manifold. Outboard of each engine, you will note two of her five fuel tanks for a total fuel volume of 9,950 litres. It's clear Cheoy Lee build big boats as you look at the engine room installation onboard 'Lady Peggy'! In summary, her engineering and systems are to a very high standard, are easily serviceable, and should give her next owner great confidence in steaming off to remote locations.

Whether it be Sydney Harbour, the Kimberley, or the Fiji Islands 'Lady Peggy' will take her new owner to whatever location they desire in comfort, safety, and style. She is smooth, quiet, and fuel-efficient when underway. She is an Australian Registered Ship in preparation for leaving Australian Waters should her new owner wish to take advantage of her capabilities.
