Clausen 1954 Lapstroke Just Listed

Your chance to own a part of Port Adelaide Maritime history. For sale is my 1954 Clausen Cabin lapstrake timber fishing boat. This boat was built by JP Clausen & Sons of Jenkins St Port Adelaide. It has been loving and tastefully restored into an electric powered day boat on a sturdy trailer. Fibreglass and 2pac exterior over original timber hull taken back and west system applied to ensure a durable and water tight finish. Removal of the old diesel motor enabled the addition of a flat floor with subfloor buoyancy, seating for 4-6 and a practical comfortable space. Powered by a pelican 24v 140lb thrust electric motor giving 5 knots of cruising speed. (Please note motor is not included in sale). Hull has also had anti fouling applied by Port River Marine Services. 2 x 280ah batteries that are charged by solar panels situated on the roof of the cabin ensure the batteries are always charged. All safety gear is included including new anchor, nav lights, auto bilge pump, flares and fire bucket.
