PILAR is a beautiful coastal cruiser liveaboard made of timber hard chine carvel planked Spotted Gum and she is far and away the best trawler of her size on the market.
Since being converted from a Bundaberg prawn trawler her three owners have cared for her meticulously. This is the cleanest engine room you'll ever see.
PILAR cruises at 6.5 knots with the Cummins 6B is just ticking over and sipping less than 8 litres per hour.
In the last 12 months she has taken me and my children from the Gold Coast to Bermagui, back to Sydney and all over the harbour and Hawkesbury. She is a delight. We are moving back onto a sailing catamaran but PILAR will always have place in our hearts.
With recent upgrades including rear ladder to access huge roof deck, new hatches, new chain, new through-hulls, new cutlass bearings and new stuffing gland she is as reliable as she is beautiful. With anti foul completed in August 2024 she is ready for her new owners.
