''Finally'' is a beautifully built single screw open launch, she is in excellent condition having been permanently garaged when not in use.
She was designed and painstakingly built by shipwright Simon Phillips on a part-time basis, Construction started in 2003 and she was 'Finally' completed in 2006 where she launched and displayed at the Davistown Putt Putt Regatta.
The GRP hull was constructed by using an old carvel planked putt putt as the mould. The basic hull laminate consists of 5 skins of 450gms chopped Strand Matt (CSM) with foam GRP encapsulated internal floors, timber deck framing and engine beds.
The Internal open hull is built with a timber deck and timber exterior consisting of Silver Ash, teak laminated gunwales and 9mm thick teak, kauri pine, New Guinea Rosewood on timber deck beams. The internal hull is built with side and aft benches with inlaid Silver Ash with a soundproofed engine box mid-ships. All timber surfaces are varnished.
She is powered by a Nanni 2.45HE two-cylinder diesel engine that develops 10HP. The engine has an electric start and is in excellent condition with only 97 hours on the clock.
The boat comes on a single axle galvanised Sales roller trailer with good quality Atlantic manual hand winch and ratchet jockey wheel. The vessel comes with full travel covers including an inbuilt stone guard.
