"A H Dauntless" vessel was purchased by the current owners in 2005 and was used as a private vessel and in 2007 it went to The Yard Shipyard in Brisbane and a new engine was fitted. After consideration of several engine options, it was agreed a new 620HP Yanmar 6LAH-STE would be fitted and it was along with a new 28 KVA Onan plus some other mechanical and electrical works were also carried out.
Major external works were also undertaken on the vessel at The Yard with extensions and modifications to suit the new owners use. The internal timber fit out is in New Guinea Rosewood.
After the extensions and modifications were completed a full repaint was undertaken by G T Mack & Company in Brisbane and once finished "A. H. Dauntless" was complete with her new look and changes ready for her to cruise the open sea that awaited.
At sea the 620HP Yanmar 6LAH-STE shaft drive diesel cruisers her at 9 knots and only uses a lousy 60 litres per hour and with her KeyPower hydraulic underway stabilisers gives you a great ride with limited roll.
Maneuvering the vessel in close quarters can be carried out from the main helm, port side wing control station or the wireless Dockmate remote controller and her KeyPower hydraulic bow and stern thrusters make it a breeze to move sidewards to the dock.
Having great accommodation in her 6 cabins sleeping 14 people on three levels and a big saloon / dining area that is a feature of the vessel allows you to enjoy your time at sea in very comfortable surroundings.
The wheelhouse is sensational with great vision and all the electronics required for long range cruising supported by the Nobeltec computer navigation package and Raymarine sounder makes it easy to find your way around. Another great feature of the vessel is the master cabin is located behind the helm and is very close to all the action whilst at sea.
The overall volume of the vessel is huge and the back deck houses the tender being a 5.0MT AB RIB inflatable with 60HP Mercury 4 stroke outboard and once removed makes this a great open space. Lifting the tender is made easy with the Gormagh 40000-E hydraulic variable weight knuckle crane davit. Forward of the tender a large retractable electric operated awning covers the custom-built table that will house 10 people to relax in a good, shaded area.
If you are looking for a long-range explorer motor yacht, you need to look no further and step on board "A. H. Dauntless" to see the finish, quality and inclusions on board this fantastic motor yacht. She is just waiting to take you away from it all and set sail to those places you have always dreamed of.
