A wonderful liveaboard, very spacious and every need catered for.
Entering into the main cabin area via a sliding door from the spacious aft deck you get the immediate feeling of being at home. There is a large saloon/living area with a full size modular-style settee to port whilst starboard features a full size dining table to seat 6. Heading foreward there is a roomy galley/kitchen area, comprising of a full size house fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/cooktop and large double bowl s/s sink, as well as a pantry and lots of storage /cupboard space.
Further foreward, the hallway, lined with built in cupboards, leads to the sleeping cabin areas. A large walk-around double bed in the main cabin occupies the starboard area whilst a double bed with above bunk is to the portside. Finishing the lower area is a large bathroom and separate toilet. Headspace is 7'+.
The lower area is air conditioned with it being ducted through to each of the sleeping cabins.
The flybridge comprises a cockpit area/nav station which has full covers and includes ample seating for 10+; bar area with built in gas bbq and bar fridge. A large sundeck/entertainment area completes the picture. Access to the flybridge is via set of steps with handrail from the aft deck.
The lower deck is full walkaround and bulwark enclosed for safety. The swim platform is accessed by steps either side of the stern, plus s/s ladder.
The vessel was surveyed and antifouled August 2024, including new anodes.
Built on the Gold Coast and cruised to Townsville in 2011,"Sand Bar" is solidly constructed and is suitable for partially smooth waters, as determined by Marine Safety Queensland.
