REDUCED 'Gloria' is located in Goolwa South Australia, she is a timber Hartley design, built in 1965 by S. Rossin Sydney NSW. Her interesting history includes her use in Sydney Harbour as an official boat in the 1966/67 National Moth championships before becoming a charter fishing boat in Pt Lincoln. She then made her way to Paringa on the Murray before finding her current location in Goolwa 1987. She has a fantastic layout inside with a well appointed galley to port, dinning to starboard and a drive station centrally located in the Saloon. The Lounge and second dinning area is a generous size with plenty of seating. As you move forward to the Vberth you will walk past a large closet and large head with shower. 'Gloria' has been a live a board boat for a couple of years, her solid Ply construction from below waterline to the deck is presenting well and money has been spent on the hull over the past few years so I am not expecting any problems in this area. There is a project element above the gunwale / topsides that will need addressing at some stage soon with some wood rot visible. She has a flybridge and great deck layout on the second level, there is an enclosed back deck area that is a good size with easy flow through to the saloon. She is powered by a Ford Thames Trader 6 CYL Diesel that runs well and presents well for a boat of this age.
