The Historic Vessel "Southern Cross Stars" is being offered for sale.
Built by W. L. Holmes & Co., the keel was first laid in October 1939 as a Fishing Boat with
the first fishing trip on Boxing Day 1940.
During the Second World War the boat served the Australian Navy under the name of H. M. A. S Polaris.
It was awarded Battle Honours "New Guinea 1942-43".

After a 12 year restoration by Swiss Master Boat Builder Fritz Meier, it is an outstanding legacy of his skills.
This vessel is in very good condition for its age.
Historical features of the boat have been kept, and modern conveniences added to be used as a leisure boat.
