The E73 is the smallest Horizon to feature both internal crew-access stairs and a fully enclosed flybridge, delivering the privacy and versatility of a much larger yacht. It's this clever design that has made the E73 one of Australia's most successful enclosed flybridge motor yachts of the past two decades.
An exceptional yacht, in exceptional condition, and an opportunity not easily replicated.
With her stylish exterior profile, impressive interior volume and exceptional selection of entertaining spaces, the Horizon E73 delivers the feel and amenities of a considerably larger motor yacht.
Designed with entertaining at the forefront, she provides multiple areas for family and friends to relax and enjoy life on the water. A creative foredeck seating area, exterior bar on the boat deck and expansive, shaded aft deck create distinct spaces for entertaining, dining or simply unwinding at anchor.
Step inside and the E73 continues to impress. Her generous interior proportions provide an inviting environment for extended cruising, with beautifully appointed accommodation and living spaces complemented by extensive upgrades throughout.
Extensively Refurbished & Upgraded
A major refurbishment was undertaken in 2021, with significant investment across the vessel's mechanical systems, exterior, interior, electronics, lighting and furnishings.
Works included sandblasting and priming of the hull, antifoul and Propspeed application, new shaft bearings and realignment, new stainless-steel exhaust elbows to both engines, and Caterpillar servicing of the engines, generator and gearboxes.
The yacht's electrical and lighting systems also received extensive attention, including rewiring as required and the replacement of approximately 104 internal, external and feature lights with modern LED lighting. New underwater lights, aft recessed lighting, lounge feature lighting and a six-camera system were also installed.
Her interior underwent a substantial transformation, including:
o New timber flooring and carpet throughout
o Reupholstered interior and exterior lounges and cushions
o New exterior cushion covers
o New blinds throughout
o New custom bed linen, covers, pillows, throws and cushions
o New TVs and upgraded bedroom lighting
o Marble tops to the dining table, kitchen and side benches and rear helm table
o New interior lounge rug
o Refurbished timber and feature finishes throughout
o Two original Horizon helm chairs imported from the Horizon factory
o New aft chairs and coffee table
o New kitchen sink and tap
o New outdoor gas barbecue
o Custom Horizon matting to the engine room
Further upgrades included an updated yacht controller, new crane remote controller, Telstra Wi-Fi and antenna system, repositioning and tidying of the domes, new fenders and ropes, along with the supply of engine spare parts.
Recent Mechanical & Systems Works
The vessel has continued to receive ongoing maintenance and investment, with recent works including oil and filter changes to both Caterpillar engines, engine alignments, oil sampling across the engines, generator sets and gearboxes, and further generator maintenance.
A new air-conditioning chiller unit has been fitted along with replacement air-conditioning blowers. The starboard Onan generator has received a new water-pump housing and impeller, while the crew area has been upgraded with a new toilet system and pedestal.
The davit crane has also been dismantled and overhauled with a new ram and seals, with leaks rectified and the system returned to proper operation.
Additional recent upgrades include a new Smart TV in the master suite and further electrical and lighting works throughout.
A recent diver inspection reported the hull in good condition, with the antifoul estimated to have approximately 12 months remaining and the Propspeed still presenting well. Recent oil-sampling reports are also available for review.
Tender Induced
The E73 is complemented by a late-model BRIG tender powered by a Honda 50hp outboard, providing an excellent setup for trips ashore, exploring secluded beaches or watersports.
The tender also benefits from new SIMRAD electronics, further enhancing the helm and navigation experience.
A Yacht That Defies Her Size
What sets the Horizon E73 apart is her remarkable use of space. From the foredeck through to the aft deck, boat deck and beautifully appointed interior, there is an impressive sense of volume wherever you go.
Whether entertaining a large group, cruising with family or enjoying a quiet weekend away, she provides the versatility, comfort and amenities expected from a much larger motor yacht while retaining the manageable proportions of the E73 platform.
With extensive refurbishment, significant recent mechanical works, upgraded electronics and beautifully refreshed entertaining and accommodation areas, this Horizon E73 represents an outstanding opportunity for her next owner.
