"Mistral" is probably one of the best examples of these much loved displacement cruisers. For those who don't know the Australian built Kingston 770, they are a beamy, shaft drive diesel fibreglass cruiser with a big double cabin up forward, decent bathroom with hot shower, saloon with galley, dinette/settee, and helm station. "Mistral" has the wonderful addition of a concertina rear bulkhead which folds away to open up the saloon to the generous cockpit which has full covers, clears and flyscreens. From here a transom door opens to the swim platform where the new premium stainless BBQ can be mounted. Throughout the boat there is ample headroom and big picture windows for great visibility and a bright ambience. Powered by a reliable and economical Ford Lees 80 hp diesel, this vessel is very nicely maintained and presented.
