SERIOUSLY EQUIPPED VOLVO IPS CRUISER -- READY FOR THE NEXT ADVENTURE

This beautifully equipped motor yacht is a genuine go-anywhere family cruiser, offering an impressive combination of performance, long-range capability, comfort and extensive recent upgrades. Exceptionally well set up for extended cruising, fishing and entertaining, she has been thoughtfully maintained by an owner who prefers to cruise conservatively and look after his machinery rather than push the boat unnecessarily.

Power comes from twin Volvo Penta D6 435hp engines, both in good condition and recently benefiting from new turbochargers and circulating water pumps at approximately 1,600 hours. The IPS drives have also received significant attention, with new clutches fitted to both drives approximately 150 hours ago, together with four new propellers. The correctly sized propellers have transformed the boat's performance, delivering noticeably better acceleration, responsiveness and overall efficiency. Both IPS units have subsequently been serviced while the vessel was out of the water.

Performance is an impressive 24 knots at wide-open throttle, with fuel consumption of approximately 150 litres per hour. For the owner who prefers relaxed cruising, she is typically operated at 8-10 knots while consuming just 25 litres per hour, making her exceptionally practical for extended coastal passages.

Her electrical and energy systems have been comprehensively upgraded, including 900Ah of lithium batteries, two Victron battery chargers, a Victron DC-DC charger and a new 3,000W Victron inverter. The 9kVA Kohler generator has approximately 6,000 hours and has recently received a new alternator unit, while the vessel also benefits from new starter batteries fitted in January.

Cruising independence is further enhanced by 2,900 litres of fuel across three tanks, 1,000 litres of fresh water and a 150-litre black water tank. A new watermaker high-pressure pump and air-conditioning circulation pump were fitted approximately six months ago.

The exterior has been continually improved, with new clears, new helm chairs, a new helm unit and new fenders with covers. The aft platform is equipped with a stainless-steel BBQ, while the cockpit has a live bait tank and rod holders beneath the rear awning. For the serious angler, the vessel is equipped with outriggers and a shotgun outrigger, making her particularly well suited to game fishing.

Navigation and electronics are comprehensively covered by a Raymarine suite, including radar, autopilot and twin 12-inch Axiom multifunction displays.

The accommodation and living spaces are designed for genuine extended cruising, with sleeping accommodation for up to eight. Comfort is enhanced by two reverse-cycle air-conditioning systems covering the main living area and forward berth. The galley is extremely well equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and a 10kg washing machine with integrated dryer. The fridge/freezer has also recently received a new motor and compressor.

The tender package is another highlight, comprising a 3.5m Smartwave unsinkable tender powered by a 20hp Mercury four-stroke with less than 50 hours' use.

Anchoring equipment is substantial, with a 30kg stainless-steel primary anchor and 120m of 3/8" short-link galvanised chain, plus a spare 30kg anchor with 60m of 5/16" galvanised chain and a further 100m of rope.

Safety equipment includes Elide fireballs positioned around the battery systems and engine room, together with a fire suppression system. The fire suppression system will require servicing by the new owner.

This is a vessel that has clearly been upgraded with long-term ownership and serious cruising in mind. From the extensive IPS and engine work to the lithium electrical system, substantial fuel and water capacity, game-fishing equipment, tender package and impressive onboard amenities, she offers an exceptional level of equipment for the discerning buyer.
