Nordhavn 52 2013 Just Listed

Meticulously maintained "Eros" (nee: "Mermaid Explorer") is a late model example of the hugely popular Nordhavn N52. Fully imported, tax paid New Zealand boat, having first been flagged Australian, she is a true expedition passage maker having been motored here by the husband and wife owners from Alaska on her own bottom.
Commissioned in 2013 "Eros" is very highly spec'd, boasting an extensive inventory too big to list here but includes TRAC stabilisers, extended duck board, upgraded twin pilothouse helm chairs, water maker, dive compressor, Raymarine electronics in pilothouse, flybridge, master cabin and cockpit, oversized portholes, bow and stern thrusters to mention only a few. The quality of build is stunning!
The Northern Lights genset, Lugger wing engine and Lugger main engine is considered the ultimate passage making configuration, giving unbelievable economy and redundancy. Coastal cruising is 8 knots and Ocean cruising recommended to be 7 knots (12 litres/hr). Diesel tankage of 8,600 litres and a cockpit bladder for those ultra-long voyages allows a huge range. The two ensuited Queen cabins offer luxurious cruising. A pull out double in the main salon and the pilothouse berth rounds out the accommodation. The salon, galley, cockpit and flybridge are all equally as impressive.
"Eros" fits into an 18m berth and continuation of renting her current Westhaven berth may be a possibility.
