This vessel was a tender to a commercial vessel working out of Port Douglas for most of its life. They are no longer built in this form due to the cost. This is an opportunity to secure a vessel that is not only a true offshore fishing or dive vessel but also has the cylinder construction for water-tight integrity and safety. This vessel is suitable for extreme duty or for pure relaxation. It is diesel-powered for longevity and safety, and Hamilton jet-powered for extreme shallow-draft operations.
Similar in concept to a Stabicraft Hull, but with higher freeboard, jet propulsion, and at a fraction of the price.
Built by Queensland Ships, a commercial builder, with Serial number AU. LCC 73052L099, not in survey. Powered by Yanmar 4 Cylinder Turbo inter-cooled diesel 4LHA-STE 240 HP approx and drives a Hamilton Jet HJ 219 with a hydraulic powered bucket.
Motor recently removed, spot sandblasted, zinc primed, and resprayed with Yanmar 2 pack, including a full service descale and rawwater pump rebuild. Full details available.
Modification from new is a large duckboard, new Luxury seats, complete hull respray, large HD Minkota 36 volt, 36 Volt Full River Batteries AGM, solar for engine and Minkota batteries. Included is DC to DC for Minkota. Victron for the state of charge
Major refit included silenced exhaust, engine sound shield, cabin upgrade, instruments, bilge pumps, nav station, fishing box, deck wash HP pump, and new EVA flooring over all deck areas. The cabin can sleep 2.
A large full cockpit sun protection has been installed with stainless steel and Stamoid 10-year PVC material, and the Minkota has a customised cover. The vessel has its own trailer, in excellent condition. Prior to this, it was on an air berth at a marina.
