Powercat 3000 Sports Cabriolet, 2008 Model, Twin 250 HP Mercury Verado outboard's, Sealink tri-axle trailer. This popular sports cat is about as highly optioned as it gets with virtually every extra added, making it both a great fishing rig, but also a brilliant cruiser. The boat itself is a fwd hardtop with camper covers and front clears but also comes with an alternative storm cover for quick fishing set up, and a full storage cover. The lockable cabin area is surprisingly spacious with a large double and a good standing room on entry for getting changed that also provides a big space for the electric toilet area (with holding tank). The cockpit galley consists of a big wet bar with pressure hot water system, an electric double cooktop, 12/240 fridge, good storage and bench space - all powered with a 2500KW invertor off lithium batteries and the interchangeable aft U-shaped seating layout, big removable cockpit table, bow sunpad cushions and fresh water transom shower make this a genuine sports cruiser, more than suitable for long coastal runs to your favourite hidey hole for a long weekend. When it comes to fishing you are well catered for as well; two removable bait boards, snapper racks, live bait tank, three big underfloor kill tanks with pumps (also good general storage), saltwater deck wash, rocket launchers, gunnel rod holders, side door (great at the marina), cockpit work lights, remote spotlight, outriggers - the list goes on. For divers the big swim ladder is perfect, and I reckon air tanks would fit easily into one of those big underfloor storage lockers. Then there is the helm with twin Raymarine 10" touch screens, radar, VHF radio and autopilot. Tunes are courtesy of a 6 speaker Fusion stereo system. The Mercury's have 295 hours with electric steering, digital controls, smart craft gauges and stainless props. Other noteworthy items is the electric anchor winch, twin VSR switches on the battery isolators and grab rails everywhere; on the walkaround side decks, at the helm, across the windscreen, up on the bow, at the wet bar and aft cockpit zone; lots of stainless - we love it! The flexibility in the cockpit layout is epic; flick a couple of latches and the rear lounges can be easily removed, then drop the two bait boards and snapper racks in, converting the whole aft cockpit area to a big fishing zone with padded coamings in about five minutes! We have shown both options in these photos; set up with a lounge on one side and a fishing zone on the other, have two fishing zones, or enjoy the magnificent U-shaped lounge - awesome flexibility, very clever! Then of course is the on-water performance - it's hard to beat a cat in most conditions; stable at rest and comfortable when heading out into the rough stuff - sounds good to me! This boat is in good shape with low hours and deserves your attention.
