The Riviera 3850 Open Flybridge touched the water for the first time in 1999. She was based upon the hull of the popular Riviera 4000 Offshore launched just two years earlier. Distinctively designed with curved side windows, she offered a generous-size flybridge. The 3850 was named the 1999 Boat of the Year by Australia's Boating Industry Association.

The 3850 is a spacious two-cabin, single-bathroom model with the master cabin forward featuring a large double bed and plenty of hanging and storage lockers. The guest cabin immediately aft on the starboard side offered two bunk beds. The large bathroom on the port side included a separate shower stall, vanity, and Vacuflush toilet. The fully equipped galley forward in the main saloon area served guests at the starboard side dinette or on a second L-shaped lounge on the port side. The 3850 is powered by twin Cummins turbo-diesel engines rated at 370 hp which was installed in 2018 with only 400 hours of run time.

This vessel is the 3rd owner from the new, first build fully optioned for the Sydney International Boat Show. The last few owners have done nothing more than look after the boat completing her services every year. After 5 years of owning this vessel, the owner is motivated to move her on as he has placed an order on his new boat.
