This was all in preparation for the boat to be kept for some time going forward but as often happens the vendor found another boat that he fell in love with so this one now has to go. Its hard to keep two boats on the one canal jetty !

Welcome aboard Northerly a very well known boat in the Mandurah canals region with a number of owners through the years cruising through the Mandurah canals, trips to Rottnest Island and down to Port Geograph. A spacious carpeted over Teak Cockpit with Armour Deck EVA coating to the swim platform complete with Stainless Steel railing, custom bait board / drinks bar and a recently installed Stainless Steel BBQ. A 3/4 length rear awning with camper covers incorporating breezeway sides for a cooling afternoon sea breeze to float through. Fill the rear Vitrifrigo fridge with your favourite drinks or stack the Riviera cool box with its new cooling plate for a long weekend aboard, ample refrigeration is available on Northerly. Two small steps up through the new rear cruise curtain protecting the helm and its new upholstery from the sun brings you to the helm and mezzanine entertaining area all housed under a Hard Top with full wrap around glass screen. This is the heart of the boat and where all the real conversations happen. A custom built helm seat has just been fitted and all the surrounding seating has been reupholstered. Looking like the day it stepped out of the factory this is something you will struggle to see in anything currently on the market. A wide double helm seat overlooking the new Garmin screens, Stereo controls, VHF radio and Garmin auto pilot and more she is a pleasure to drive and extremely manoeuvrable in all situations. Three hatches above your head in the hard top keep the air flowing if the AC has been turned off, yes she has AC through to the helm area and an icemaker for your afternoon cocktails.

Heading forward down through the central mounted companion way the boat opens up and is seen as one of the preferred layouts in WA boating. A large Saloon area open and uncluttered, well lit and with ample storage available. Your Galley to the Port side with a L shaped solid bench top, Panasonic convection microwave, Fisher & Paykal stove and a Nova Kool fridge. A leather lounge to Starboard that converts into a king single and upper bunk for the kids. Direct access to the forward head, a spacious toilet / shower with a glass screen separating the two keeping your towels dry while showering, a simple installation but one you will grow to appreciate. Passing through the bi-fold forward cabin doors and you can stretch out on the Queen sized island style berth when the day has drawn to an end. The perfect boat ? its has to be close.

Powered by a pair of Cummins 6BTA, 370 Hp, diesel, shaft driven engines showing just under 1200 hours this has Northerly running at a comfortable 22 knots all day in most conditions with a sprint of around 26 knots if needed. A run from Mandurah to Rotto and return will see around 400 lt pass through the engines. Pretty good in most peoples eyes. Northerly is all up to date in regards to service works and ready for your family to hit the waters this summer.
