Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht Just Listed

This much-loved 2009 Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht is the perfect balance of coastal and offshore cruising, be it for day trips or weekend getaways! The current
fastidious owners have enjoyed this vessel so much that they are now looking to upgrade to a Riviera 6000 SY for their growing family, allowing the lucky new owners to create their own great memories onboard this beautifully presented and very well-maintained vessel.

The Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht was in fact the very first Australian designed and built boat specifically for the new Volvo Penta Inboard Propulsion System (IPS). The Riviera engineers introduced the concept of infusion moulding for the hull, saving weight and resin. Riviera's designers took full advantage of the engines being moved closer to the aft end of the boat, building a very spacious second cabin that included a full beam double bed and a single bed along the starboard side.


Stepping aboard onto the teak-laid hydraulic swim platform, you can easily fit a small tender or jet ski as shown in the photos where the current owners purchased a brand new APEX A-10 Open tender with Yamaha 4 stroke engine, which fits perfectly and is part of the sale with this Riviera 4400 SY. The platform could also be used for diving or as a swim up type bar area, especially with the integrated and hidden BBQ to the port side of the transom. Not to be outdone, the wide and easy walkways to both sides of the boat lead you to the deck where you will find a large sun pad for relaxing and reading a book.

Inside you have the beautifully presented timber flooring for the saloon and galley areas, as well as a fridge, 2 burner electric cooktop, and dishwasher. The saloon TV has been recently upgraded to a smart TV to allow you to watch your favourite movies at a touch of a button. This spacious single-level saloon with the very functional helm station and twin-seat helm is forward on the starboard side, whilst the galley is directly aft of the helm seats and the L-shaped dinette and lounge opposite the aft galley is to the port side. An electrically operated sunroof floods the space with additional sunlight and fresh air.
Included in the 4400 Sport Yacht is the lift-up/awning window and pillarless glass door between the saloon and cockpit that opens the entire boat up, giving you the most superb indoor/outdoor feel, whilst entertaining the relaxing forward-facing guests on the newly re-upholstered cockpit lounge across the transom with a large timber dining table that can also be adjusted to coffee table height. Complete with a moulded/intergraded wet bar to the port side of the cockpit fitted with sink, drinks fridge and ice maker, appealing to families and those that love entertaining or just sitting back and watching the world go by and amazing sunsets.

At the helm you are presented with an array of smart electronics, including an upgraded large Raymarine screen, 2 Vovlo engine readouts, IPS joystick, Flood/search light remote, Compass and VHF to name a few. Going down to the cabins on the port side is a large cupboard/pantry. The forward master cabin is a large island bed with an ensuite and a recently upgraded smart TV. In the aft cabin you have a large full-beam queen bed and an extra single bed to allow all your guests to feel comfortable for overnight stays or long weekends. The aft cabin also has the ability to share its ensuite as a day head.

New cockpit fridge and ice maker have just been installed as well.
