Calypso is a beautifully presented example of the iconic Riviera 48 and is one of the very few built with a fully enclosed flybridge. Powered by twin 435hp Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines, Calypso cruises comfortably at 18 to 20 knots and reaches a top speed of approximately 24 knots. Her engines were last serviced in March 2025 and show approximately 2,055 hours. Manoeuvring is made easy with the assistance of a Craftsman bow thruster, and she is equipped with comprehensive Raymarine navigation electronics including GPS/plotter, autopilot with rudder indicator, depth sounder, VHF radio and digital radar.
The enclosed - new airconditioned flybridge is accessed via an internal staircase from the saloon and features a forward helm station with excellent visibility, plush guest seating and a rear door that opens to the flybridge deck. A 2015 Brig Eagle 340H tender with a 40hp Honda outboard is mounted on the foredeck via a Davco davit.
