Riviera M430 Sports Cruiser

Riviera M430 offshore sports cruiser, 2005 model - but with a massive rebuild in 2018 including new Mercruiser /VW TDi 370 HP diesels with XR drives & new transom assemblies. These new motors are 1300KG lighter than the original motors and push this boat to a top speed of 40 knots, with a most economical cruise speed of 28 knots. Other work at the time included the generator being reconditioned and remounted with a stainless-steel base plate and anti-vibration mounts, the entire rear of the boat was modified to incorporate an electric back-to-back seat that converts to a sunlounge, all of the wiring was replaced, the plumbing was either replaced or re-designed for better access to joins, filters and connections. Every little thing has been thought through with redistribution of weight such as batteries and tanks, to ensure the boat sits level at rest. In addition, a Flir forward thermal imaging camera has been added to pick up marker buoys, channel markers, small fishing boats without lights or kayaks and can even see bigger waves, allowing you to safely keep up the pace when cruising at night across the bay. Additional storage has been built into the companionway steps, under the aft bunks and in the fwd closet area, new linen, including custom made quilts, have just gone into the fwd and aft cabins, new full clip down carpets cover the original carpets and the list keeps going.... Clearly this is not a normal Riv 420 and shouldn't be compared with any others currently on the market. This is the boat you would be buying for around $1.6M if it were a current model - Over $200,000 has been spent on this is the last few years so one would expect a number of hassle-free seasons ahead with a huge dose of practical improvements and extra comfort thrown in.
