Engine:
Mercruiser 350 MPI fuel injected 320HP fitted with Mercruiser Vessel View re powered both the motor, leg and shield in late 2015 and the unit has only done 246 hours, additional it is fitted with a Mercruiser Vessel view, more info here https://www. As mentioned our motor (leg) has not lived in saltwater and I have set it up to fully flush whether it is in water or not, KiaOra was relocated from Goolwa to Glenelg in the last month.

Batteries: We have lithium, weighing 18kg. 200 amp/hour is 199 amp/hours (99%) available and charge extremely fast. We have 2 x 60amp Enerdrive chargers which deliver combined 70 amps so the lithium charges quick. We also have a 40amp DC to DC charger which allows the engine to do the same. The cost of a lithium battery is around $2000 and have a 10 year life span (most including ours have a 5 year full warranty) The setup cost for this equipment was 6K and only installed in March 21. All the associated equipment is Enerdrive, including battery monitoring.

Clears and windows: The boat can be fully closed up. The clears were replaced fully in 2024 November The other key is that the boat does not leak water through clears of windows.

The Seaquest interior of this vessel puts many larger vessels to shame with its clever use of space & generous headroom. The cabin is light & airy with a large table able to seat 6 with comfort or be left folded down to create a large, comfortable V berth. The cabin also has a second double aft/transverse bunk, ideal for children & adults. This vessel also boasts a spacious bathroom complete with hot/cold shower, toilet, & vanity. The helm station is very well equipped with modern electronics and all controls at hand.
