REDUCED FROM $59,000 DOWN TO $55,000, I acquired this boat from the original owner in July of the previous year. The 2008 Stabicraft 589 XR stands out for its stability, outperforming any other boat I've owned or experienced. The pontoon and hull design of the 589 ensures a dry ride, with minimal spray reaching the windscreen or clears, even under windy conditions. It effortlessly manages large swells.

Accessing the anchor well is easy, with enough room for an adult to stand comfortably. Yet, with the new wide side decks around the cabin and numerous handholds, using the hatch is rarely necessary. Nonetheless, the boat is equipped with an electric anchor and 100m of rope, making it unnecessary to go to the front to lower or retrieve the anchor. The hatch is still simple to use and secure when needed.

The transom incorporates above-floor shelf storage space, housing two heavy-duty 680 crank AMP batteries with dual battery switching and the two-stroke oil tank.
With a capacity for 7 people, I've comfortably had six adults on board in calm conditions. Even with three of us moving to one side to net a fish, the boat remains stable, barely tipping, thanks to the pontoon design of the Stabicraft, which contributes to its remarkable stability.

The pontoon and hull design of the 589 ensures a dry ride, with minimal spray reaching the windscreen or clears, even under windy conditions. It effortlessly manages large swells.

Friends with boats with V hulls have noted how well this boat performs and handles, particularly in rough and choppy seas.
A walk-thru transom is incorporated into the port side, and has a slide-in door, that when not in use is stored on a bracket further across the transom, a boarding platform is also included as standard, with a dive ladder with access around the sides is so easy.

-Now, for some specifications of the boat:

**Measured at 5.9m in length, approximately 19ft

**CORRECTION UPDATE ENGINE CAPACITY: 130 HP Evinrude E-Tec motor - around 375 hours - I recently installed a brand-new EMM in October and have used it
for roughly 10 hours since - a service was also conducted when the EMM was fitted and programmed.

** Hydraulic Steering
** 150-litre underfloor fuel tank, which allows for a considerable cruising range at a comfortable speed -Fuel gauge in the
floor at rear.
** The original owner had StabiCraft install about a 10-litre fuel purge tank to prevent fuel from spurting from the breather
when filling the tank.
** **Live bait tank. Good for keeping bait or anything else.
** Seating layout comes in the form of passenger king/queen seats and a pedestal seat at the helm.
** Additional seating is available as standard, aft in the form of a bench seat that can be fully removed to free up more
cockpit space, or easily folded down if there are four or more passengers in the boat.
**Decent Cabin space - the cabin, squab seating has plenty storage space underneath, while side shelf storage is also
available. Access through to the anchor well is easy, with enough room for a larger adult to stand through.

electrics as well as get charged from motor.
