The Thomascraft 43 Fly Bridge is a WA favourite and walking up the jetties to " Exclusive Agent " had us passing a host of Thomascraft boats further consolidating the brands appeal here in WA. We love that huge back deck with easy access off the incorporated full width swim platform all nicely finished in EVA decking for the softest of feels underfoot. Overhead a nearly full length double rail Stainless Steel aft canopy protecting your family from the WA summer sun ideal for entertaining with friends and cooking up a lunch of fresh herring fillets and cray fish on the Cookout BBQ on the back deck. Zip in the Port or Starboard rear breezeways for that little extra protection. Drinks are just an arms length away in the oversized Cockpit ice box and the family can tidy up for lunch with a rear sink and transom shower. The Thomascraft 43 is a fantastic family boat with neutral colours allowing you to dress the boat to your needs.

A small step up and through the Saloon double folding doors keeps the open plan design flowing through with the typical Thomascraft wide Saloon with exceptional headroom something I appreciate at over 6 feet tall. Relaxing in the Starboard side lounge watching a movie or setting the table to Port for an evening meal the Thomascraft 43 is very well proportioned with ample natural light flowing in large side windows. Step down to a classic galley layout to the Port side. Plenty of storage space available for longer periods aboard with an upright Vitrfrigo fridge freezer combination, Spinolo 4 burner gas hob / oven / griller combination.

Heading forward down the mid-line companionway offers you the Master cabin to the Starboard side mid-ship. A quality berth with room to change into your shore clothes, mirror and storage along with a Sharp TV mounted to the bulkhead. Overhead light and airflow through the hatch, an outboard opening porthole and privacy screen windows looking internally. Thomascraft really got it right with this cabin. A second cabin in the bow with a twin berth installation to the Starboard side, great storage options and again plenty of room to change into your bathers for a swim. The forward overhead hatch and opening porthole will keep the fresh air flowing through on a warm summers night. Located to the Port side mid-ship a separate toilet shower is installed.

Making your way up the Stainless and timber ladder to the fly bridge and Thomascrafts typical open plan approach is carried on. Twin deluxe seats to the helm, a large forward lounge area and room aft for an engel or additional storage for longer trips. Vision from the helm is excellent through quality clears with the EVA decking carried on in the Fly Bridge. Powered by a single Iveco Aifo 700 V8 Diesel powered shaft driven engine offering up 700 Hp Exclusive Agent drops into gear quietly and powers along with ease. A full length keel protects the hull and running gear with the rudder indicator gauge giving you the confidence you need to holding a straight course. A cruise speed of around 16 or so knots is comfortable with a few knots held in reserve if needed.

This Thomascraft 43 has been in the current family for about 20 years and has been maintained by the owners boatman throughout that time. We also know the previous owner who bought the boat at just a year or so old so our confidence in this boat is well founded. Two quality owners accounting for nearly all the boats life is a rare history.
