Performance & Cruising Capability
Unlike displacement cruisers, the Viking 60 features a modified-V planing / semi-planing hull, delivering strong performance and comfortable running at higher speeds.  

Low-speed operation is best at 9 knots, and Viking recommends that for every 4-5 hours at low speed, the vessel should run 15-20 minutes at cruise speed to maintain optimal engine health.
