Built by Bernard Wilson for his own use as a pleasure boat after he retired from fishing and being one of Tasmania's most highly regarded boatbuilders, and launched in November 1997. Classic Tasmanian cray boat looks with a completely overhauled mast, boom and rigging and a new self furling jib and a gaff rigged main. This is a very well proportioned vessel designed for Tasmanian waters in excellent order.
Main power is from a 167hp Cummins diesel inboard with only 2300 engine hours, there are 1400 litres of diesel giving a vast cruising range and hydraulic steering as well as autopilot, a new Garmin GPS/fishfinder and radar. The current owner has been meticulous with the maintenance and many systems have been upgraded and equipment replaced. The focsle has good headroom with a V berth double and 2 single berths with plenty of storage There is an enclosed heads with new electric toilet and shower in the wheelhouse and 3 steps down a well furnished aft cabin with a dinette, roomy skippers berth, new fridge and oven and lots more storage. The engine room is accessed from here, well lit, very tidy and professionally laid out.
This is a capable, economical vessel with everything needed to cruise the coast in comfort and reliability. The inventory is extensive and a list of recent works and upgrades can be provided by request.
