Oram 60

New to the market. This beautifully presented Oram 60 has just returned from cruising the Solomon Islands. The sail back into Cairns was achieved in four and half days. Not a bad daily average!!
If you are looking for comfort and speed, then this is the answer for you. Easily sail 200 plus miles a day with these long sleek hulls with an impressive waterline length, without giving up any of the creature comforts found on more conservative cats that sail at half the speed.

The fitout and layout is light and airy with mutliple lounging and seating options in the main saloon. The spacious cockpit is also home to a 3 burner cooker and refrigeration so entertaining can take place conveniently and leisurely. A seperate wheel house gets you out of the cockpit and in clear view forward and sides with control lines leading to the helmsman.

This Oram cat has benefitted from an expensive refit in the last years, where nearly all the vessels systems were replaced with new.
This includes new mast and boom, standing rigging and sails, electrics, refrigeration and electronics, the list is extensive. And all new paint job using the best quality products.

Propulsion is provided by two shaft-driven Kubota 28 hp diesel that were new in 2009 and have only 1,500 hours logged. They are in as new condition and the engine rooms are spotless.

In summary, this Oram 60 represents a fast, safe, comfortable, well-proven passagemaking home that requires no further investment to continue cruising to any location.
