Outremer 51 'Duodecim' Just Listed

With an increase in load capacity, this best-selling family boat from the Outremer range, twice awarded European Yacht of the Year and Boat of the Year in the United States, is the benchmark cruising catamaran for families sailing around the world. Duodecim, a 3 cabin owners version was commissioned new by its current owner and launched in April 2019. The first four years were spent summer sailing in the Mediterranean Sea with Outremer Boat yard doing all the maintenance during those four years. Then setting sail in 2024 from Europe to Caribbean Sea through the Panama Canal onto French Polynesia through the Pacific Islands and finally dropping anchor in New Zealand completing a voyage of 25,000 nautical miles.

During that time the boat has been carefully sailed and meticulously maintained with custom upgrades in areas specifically for cruising and extended living aboard. A new Marechal Z Spars aluminium mast with stainless steel rigging was installed in 2023 with shrouds and martingale refit in 2025. Hydranet Incidence sail inventory that includes self tacking jib is comprehensive for blue water passage making.

Since arriving in New Zealand, Duodecim has been hauled for regular maintenance and is ready for next adventure. A pre-sale marine survey will be made available for review.
