This Savage Kestrel Sportsman 4.18m with a Mercury 25 hp 2 stroke is like new, here is it's story.
I bought it new in 2006 and unfortunately in 2008 I had to have surgery replacing both knee joints which meant the boat has been parked unused for over 16 years in the garage.
Purchased new from Bay Marine, Chelsea, a boating package including the boat, trailer and a Mercury 25hp motor. I am the only owner so I know everything there is to know about this package.
The best available in 2006 was purchased to ensure a safe and stress free life of boating and fishing, it was perfect for me to launch alone or take the family out for a fantastic day on the water.
I hoped to use my boat again, finally my wife said it's time to concede and move it on to make space for my daughter's first car.
It is seriously in near perfect new condition.
Total hours of motor running would be under 30, yes, under 30 hours.
Both boat and trailer registered until December 2025, almost a year.
Features include forward steering and key start, front and rear anchors, bimini cover, full custom boat cover, 2 forward swivel seats.
I've given it a thorough wash down with Septone Ali Brite Aluminium Cleaner (there is a half bottle left over for you), a 25 litre full tank of fresh fuel with a spare 1 litre 2 stroke oil for the next 25 litre fill up, a new battery fitted and new emergency flares.
Fully equipped to go fishing on day one with safety gear that includes, new flare kit, running and anchor lights, making it legal to use at night, 4 x Level 100 life jackets, GME marine radio with fold down antenna, fire extinguisher, bailing scoop, 12 litre bucket, 2 x paddles.
The following additional gear that is needed for a great day out includes, Gavman fish and depth finder, compass, 4 boat fishing rods and reels (one for a child) including rod holders, landing net, gaff hook, drop berley bucket, removable bait or catch 60 litre holding container with bait or fish cleaning chopping board on top, moveable LED deck light, opening windscreen to access forward anchor, motor flush adaptor, all ready to go today.
100% confident in this boat package for a safe and fun boating adventure.
I'm disappointed that my dreams of boating where cut short, however, I'm looking forward to seeing it go to a new home.
This is a ready to go package, currently insured for an agreed value through GIO insurance $12,890 for boat, trailer and motor, thats what they think it's worth, so I've got the selling price right considering the extensive list and value of the extras I'm including.
Other than the Victorian State Government transfer charges this is genuinely sail away no more to pay.
