Boomerang 20 Just Listed

1980 Boomerang 20."Patanga", is one of the very best Boomerang 20s still on the water. Her condition is Excellent, very original. New tandem trailer, 2022. Trailer has only been in the water a few times and always washed thouroughly afterwards. The Motor is a 2006 Suzuki 6HP 4stroke with very low hours and is exteremly reliable, always flushed and regularly serviced.
Patanga would be a great first boat as Boomerang 20s are known to be easy to sail for beginners but also rewarding to sail for the more experienced sailor and seems to outsail most other boats of a similar length. Boomerangs are a very stable boat with the ability to lock down the keel for safety. They are also extremely strong and robust. The main sail has roller reefing for quick and easy reefing, hoisting and stowing. With a tow weight of approx 1250kg it is light enough to easily tow with a family car. Great for family holidays on the water. We are very reluctant to part with Patanga but have just upgraded to a Noelex 25. Patanga is very easy to rig, launch and retrieve. Can be rigged and sailed single handed. Ready to hit the water.
