Calypso Catamaran Caper Cat 14 Just Listed

This boat participated in the Lake Eyre Yacht Club Regatta in 2025, and we are sad to see her go, but we have bought a much bigger boat to sail offshore.

The Caper Cat is a 14 ft (4.3 m) sailboat with a twin/catamaran fibreglass hull and an alloy mast. Its unique feature is the large built-in storage in the hulls, making it ideal for sailing/camping adventures.

This price includes the boat trailer that is registered and has new bearings. The boat has a sloop rig, shallow rudders, a newish trapeze mat between the hulls, and a bracket for a small outboard motor. The boat comes with two main sails (one spare) and two roller furler gibs (one spare).

Optional extras that we can sell with this boat include:

- electric motor, runs on solar power
- solar panel, custom-made to fit the front of the boat and power the electric motor
- instructions on how to install and use the solar panel and electric motor.
