Gemini Waverider 780 Jet RIB Centre console Just Listed

Built by Gemini Marine, this 7.8m centre-console RIB combines the stability and offshore capability these platforms are known for with the manoeuvrability and practicality of diesel jet propulsion.

The deep-V GRP hull and substantial foam-filled collar system provide a secure, confidence-inspiring platform both underway and at rest, while the open centre-console layout leaves plenty of usable deck space and easy movement around the vessel. It is a configuration well suited to tender duties, fishing, diving, recreational use or commercial support work.

Power comes from a Yanmar 6LPA-STP six-cylinder turbo diesel producing approximately 315HP, showing around 500 engine hours and coupled to a Doen waterjet. The jet-drive arrangement removes the exposed propeller found on a conventional outboard setup, making it particularly useful for shallow-water operation, swimming and diving activities, tender work and close-quarters manoeuvring.

The helm is equipped with a Simrad NSS12 evo3 multifunction display providing GPS, chartplotting and sonar functions, together with an Icom IC-M200 VHF, compass, Yanmar engine instrumentation and dedicated electrical switch panel.

A fixed hardtop provides protection over the helm, with twin helm seats, overhead rod storage and a practical central engine box providing additional seating and usable deck space. Stainless steel boarding rails and an aft platform make access from the water straightforward, while the heavy-duty bow towing/Samson post adds further versatility for tender and support applications.

The vessel is offered with a 2016 Pitcher tandem-axle trailer rated to 3,500kg ATM, creating a complete trailerable package ready to be transported and deployed where required.
