South Coast Magnum 8.5 trailer sailer. After 16 years of racing and cruising our Magnum 8.5 Mixed Nuts, we are moving onto a new boat. It's time for a new owner to hopefully have as much fun and enjoyment as we have had with this great boat. Mixed Nuts has been well maintained, undergoing a complete keel rebuild in 2024, including hydraulic ram reconditioning. Standing rigging was replaced in 2019 and the boat has a great sail wardrobe including new carbon mainsail 2023, new carbon no. 1 headsail 2024 and carbon self tacking no. 3 headsail 2021. The boat sits on a 2015 Transtyle dual axle aluminium trailer with break-away brakes. We have primarily raced Mixed Nuts and have had success in both long distance and around the sticks formats. We have cruised the boat extensively on the Gippsland lakes and in 2016 on Sydney Harbour. The boat is currently located on the hardstand at Mornington Yacht Club with winter storage paid up until October 2025. Summer storage can be arranged with the club.
