Stessl 550 Funseeker Bowrider Just Listed

The team at John Crawford Marine have just landed and finished certifying this one owner since new Stessl 550 Funseeker bowrider that has plenty of features that will make for an excellent day boat for the family! Waterskiing, tubing, fishing or chillaxing!

This Stessl features a stunning blue exterior paint job atop of the "Platerix Hull Series" design, The "Platerix" offers a solid ride and stability at rest with the added strength of 4mm bottom sheet and 4mm side alloy aluminium. The 550 Funseeker model also features a deep cockpit and generous beam for the angler in the family.

Powered by a Yamaha 130Hp EFI F130XA four stroke that has recorded a low, computer ECU verified 122 hours. Our paperwork indicates it's last annual service in June this year and further JCM has completed the mechanical presale reporting and completed the ECU diagnostic test indicating all in very good condition.

The 130Hp is a perfect power perfect powerplant for this rig, easily pushing the family aboard or towing a double tube or water skiers. With approx. 115l fuel capacity under the floor, range is assured, backed with Yamaha's reliability and fuel economy.

The helm is very comfortable being seated atop of high back, bolstered pedestal seat, looking through an expansive windscreen with unobstructed viewing. The dash is well laid out with an array of engine instrumentation, a Lowrance Hook 7 colour screen GPS/Sounder, switching inc a 12v power outlet and for those that like their tunes afloat, a quality Fusion stereo system is installed.

Overhead a quality bimini provides ample shade from the midday sun and this can be easily folded down when towing or storing in the bimini sock. The rig is also further fitted with a front and side clears for additional comfort and weather protection.

The transom is also well set up for the bait angler with a plumbed live bait well, quality bait prep board and plenty of rod holders! High internal freeboard will allow a comfortable day's fishing in rolling seas as you can lean into the sides. A large underfloor wet storage bin provides further storage and we like also the added safety of a dual battery system.

If water sports are your thing, remove the bait board, drop in the ski pole and have a day on the bay or freshwater impoundments tubing and tobogganing - funtimes! Whilst friends and family relax and spread out on the comfortable bow lounge. Even the cushions can be removed and add the infill to make a large bow casting platform for the angler in the family!
Reboarding after a snorkel, swim or pull is easy via the large dive ladder and re-entry via the walk-through transom door as pictured.

At the time of order the trailer was also upgraded from a single axle trailer to a tandem axle Dunbier 5.7CLT trailer that marries to the hull like a glove. With an experienced skipper, driving on/off can make life at the ramp easier.

Dressed with upgraded alloy wheels and includes a spare wheel for additional on road towing safety.

This trailer has been freshly workshop serviced prior to listing and fitted with new springs/brake discs, new wheel bearings on the front axle, new brake pads and cable further serviced and adjusted to meet RWC standards and give you on road towing confidence, something you do not get when buying from the private market!
