Renowned in the Australian boating community the Whitley SL24 Hard Top Diesel stern drive needs no special introductions, you know the brand and you know the quality. Whittley have been building boats since Neptune was in short shorts and this one is Diesel powered !
A very well thought out cockpit with deep internal free board for ultimate safety for the little ones, removable rear 1/4 seat option to allow for more fishing and diving room with a massive under floor storage facility for all your required daily boating needs, dive gear, water toys and more. Perfectly suited to relaxing in your favourite bay or on those long trips back from the FADS. Complete with overhead shade thanks to the hardtop and extended rear awning surrounded with side clears and a rear storm cover with a front screen breezeway locking out the extra sun when at rest. It's all you need to complete the outdoor appeal of this boat. Great side pocket storage and transom a mounted bait board, Live bait tank, sink and fresh water wash down shower as well an easy access transom door out onto the GRP non-skid swim platform protecting the Volvo DPS duo prop leg.
Heading through to the helm passed two large under seat storage lockers below the helm copilot seating allowing an uninterrupted view of all you survey through glass screens and glass sliding side windows. A concise and economical helm layout has all you need right at hand, Lowrance and Raymarine electronics, GME radio, Fusion stereo, Bennett trim tabs and a brace of general control switches running the onboard equipment. Digital / analogue gauges for engine control and a flush mount Volvo control neatly held in the Starboard side panel. This allows uninterrupted passage between the two helm seats thorough the cabin and forward berth through the zip in cabin door cover complete with a breezeway insert for those long hot nights swinging on a mooring at Rotto. Plenty of natural air flow is available.
Whats standing this Whittley SL24 apart is the power base. A Volvo D3 Diesel stern drive with the DPS dou prop leg pushing out 220 Hp with just 373 hours on the clock at the time of listing.
