This Herreshoff 'H28' is a yacht of pedigree with really beauitful lines and well designed pilot house, it makes her the complete Sydney harbour vessel or take her anywhere.

The pilot house and coach housing was an addition along with redesigning the rig from ketch to sloop by a well known Sydney shipwright for a wealthy tobacco company director in the 80's off Vaucluse.

In 1974 Kestrel 11 was fitted out with Burmese teak, Silver Ash and Oregon, complimented by solid bronze portholes. The hull is constructed of double planked maple and is in excellent condition.

Nathanael Herreshoff was an American Naval architect who designed more than 2,000 craft, his yacht designs won 5 America's Cups, all of his designs have beautiful lines, performance and excellent sea capabilities.

The Yanmar 20hp works perfectly and has been recently serviced.

The interior is beautiful, bright and airy with 4 full adult bunks.

Solar powers the lights, stereo including a great surround sound system inside and an out and automatic bilge pump.

2 unsued tonneau covers and a complete tailored heavy blue cover for the boat, never used, the boat is sailed too regularly.

6 brand new life jackets and an out of date off shore life raft never used, these boats can go anywhere.
