Bowman 46 Yawl

The Bowman 46' Yawl/Corsair is testament to sailing heritage and ocean-going capability. The combination of Homan & Pye design and Bowman build created a vessel capable of predictable movement in offshore conditions with accommodation for 4 adults and 2 children, in double V berth forward, and two sets of twin single berths in the saloon and aft cabin. A head in each cabin, efficient galley and opposite navigation table contribute to it's weight of 11 tonnes. The solid finn-keel and mechanical steering enable light-handed manouvering under full sail and while berthing under power.

Well maintained 50hp Volvo diesel engine drives the shaft and 3 blade feathering propellor to a comfortable 5 knot cruising speed at an efficient fuel burn rate. Regular servicing has ensured past reliability and assures a long life ahead for the next owner.
