The 112 FT or 34.2m Super Cat is an exceptional Catamaran Passenger ferry built in 2001. She has been skimming the Sydney Harbour waterways and has been maintained to a very high standard. Designed by Greame Parker. Built by Australian Defence Industries, Australia. She has just been slipped and inspected.
'PERCAT' formally 'Super Cat 4' has Survey: Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), complying with USL 1D and 1E standards.
She will carry 330 Passengers, is powered by twin Yanmar 6AYM-WGT Power Output: 2 x 670 kW (911 hp) at 1,938 rpm Gearboxes: 2 x Yanmar Service Speed: Approximately 24 knots.
She has two Toilets, has the room, and designed for a wet bar to be added. Excellent helm and crew facilities.
Launched in 2001. PERCAT is due for intermediate docking / out of water survey 13/06/2024 and can operate commercial until 13/09/2024 without out of water inspection. All routine maintenance for main engines (per OEM guidelines) have been completed at 500-hour intervals. Engine overhaul for vessel is not due for a while. The existing engines can operate for approx. 3000 hours before overhaul interval period.
