UPDATE: NOW AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING IN WHANGAREI, NEW ZEALAND.
Sailed from Europe to the Pacific by it's current owners, Cushla Na Mara is a proven blue-water ocean-going cruising catamaran, ready to continue safe and comfortable long distance travel, seasonal cruising in the Pacific or weekend outings in Oz.
Solidly built in France in 1998, in an era when fibreglass was used generously, the 410 is the rarer, larger version of the popular 380 with the same bright panoramic salon windows. It offers more space, ideal for a couple or family to live aboard. It's faster and has a more secure foothold in large seas. A high bridgedeck and wide side decks make it comfortable and safe on passage and at anchor.
Maintained to a high standard by the Engineer owner of 4-years, who is also a technical writer for Practical Boat Owner Magazine.
It's set up for low-expense off-grid cruising in comfort, including solar, silent wind generator, lithium batteries, watermaker, ice cubes and washing machine.
The large fridge and freezer, 3-burner stove and double sink make the galley ideal for provisioning for remote passages. The boat has 4 en-suite cabins with 3 heads, and a utility/shower room. It has never been bareboat-chartered but has earned great reviews from occasional paying guests. The sale includes a full inventory culinary utensils, workshop tools and spare parts.
The engines are robust, simple and reliable at 65% of life hours, with a rigorous maintenance record. All the rigging was replaced in 2020. The full sail inventory, including asymmetric spinnaker, is in good condition.
The owners are currently living on the boat and available for a personal handover.
Private sale.
EUR199,900 (AU$330,000,~US$215,000. Sale in Euros)
Escrow option at buyers expense.
Can be collected or kept in NZ for 18 months as a tax free sale
