Jonka is a great example of the well built, popular and unique Etap 37.
The double-skinned hull is built of hand-laid fiberglass roving and ortho- and iso-resins, has a closed-cell foam polyurethane core, and is certified unsinkable. Bulkheads are laminated to the outer hull. All reinforcing and mounting plates are made of aluminium. The deck is also made with double-skin construction. The result is a stiff, safe and very well insulated yacht.
Jonka is easy to board from the transom steps and you'll arrive in the cockpit which is secure and well laid out. The traveller is easily removable and a table can take its place converting it from a true sailors yacht with easily accessed winches and lines to a great place to relax with guests under the cover of the bimini and dodger, with infill.
Moving downstairs you'll find a lovely cabin area, well finished and laid out with plenty of smart storage solutions. The semi raised deck brings in plenty of light and and mixes well with the Cherrywood interior timber that is in excellent condition for its age. The central sink area with removable bench space and L shaped galley is smart and well positioned for time sailing or at anchor. There is a dedicated chart table, central dinette with drop down table leaves for better ergonomics, two cabins and a large head area. The engine bay and bilges are clean and all is dry.
This is a lovely yacht that has been well built and cared for. Some updates are require to the original wire rigging and deck non slip however she is priced to sell and represents great value in the market.
Available for viewing at the Anchorage in Port Stephens. Contact Darrell Barnett for more information on .
