Third share in new Beneteau First 36.

My friend and I are looking for another partner to share in the ownership, owning a third each..

The Beneteau First 36 is an ideal racer/cruiser for Sydney Harbour. At just 4.8 tonnes, its got a lot more zap than the Oceanis yachts, but its got a more comfort than a pure race yacht.

We want to keep it at Clontarf Marina - going thirds on berthing fees makes that feasible. A marina is a lot more convient than a mooring.

I expect the purchase cost, along with sails, insurance and commissioning will be around $690,000. I estimate the annual marina berthing, insurance, antifoul, engine service, hull cleaning and maintenance will be around $36,000 pa, $12,000 each. Berthing fees alone are $23,000pa.
