Shanti is a 32 ft blue water cruising yacht designed by David Sadler and built in South Africa in 1990.

Shanti is a strong and stable yacht proven to handle any conditions, she successfully circumnavigated between 2016 and 2019. She has since spent the last few years up and down the great barrier reef.

She's powered by a Yanmar 3GM30 three cylinder inboard diesel, fully refurbished in 2019. Compression testing of the engine in was conducted in 2024 and showed good compression. New water pump 2024.

The electrics feature 3x 105Ah Full River AGM batteries powered by a Victron 75/15 MPPT charge controller, 4x100W solar panels, SilentWind wind generator, 1500W Pure Sine inverter and 50 amp alternator. A 100Ah Optima engine battery is monitored by a PWM charge controller. This is more than enough to power the 75L built in fridge and Simrad TP32 Tiller Pilot.

Running rigging all comes back to the cockpit for easy single-handing. Four self-tailing winches in the cockpit.

Due to health problems, I can no longer able to continue with my plans to sail her around the Pacific and sadly need to pass her on to the next custodian.

A recent survey is available upon request.
