Flying Turtle is an ideal first houseboat. Comfortably sized, to be easily managed, yet provides ample space for two to four persons live-aboard. It has a warm cottage-like feel that is welcoming and full of character.

A key feature with Flying Turtle is the 'Off-Grid' solar system. This was installed in 2022 with new technology, MPS Mictronix power system, with Lithium 48V 5.1KWH High Power LTP Battery Module, Victron Multi Plus 3000 Inverter, Victron Smart controller charge MPPT150, and six 400W solar panels, thus providing 240V throughout the vessel.

On boarding you will notice one of the "many" recent improvements with new hardwood decking fitted, both fore and aft decks are fully shaded and of generous size, sturdy safety hand-railing through-out with side gates, and convenient front pump-out points.

On entering, the helm is located on the starboard side with VDO and Honda instrumentation, Lowrance depth finder, and Teleflex steering. The portside kitchen has a two burner Artusi cooktop, Thetford 275L 12V fridge/freezer, with plenty of drawers, cupboard, bench space, and a neat dining extension.

The lounge area has a single bed, which suits the current owner. This can be easily swapped-out for a comfortable sofa-bed still allowing sleeping for six if required, thus creating even more useable space.

The companion way leads to the bathroom and two bedrooms both having hanging wardrobe space. The primary double bedroom is located on the portside, whilst the bunkroom and bathroom with shower, vanity, and macerating toilet are located on the starboard side.

More features include a Bosch Hydro power 10H instant gas hot water, two 45Kg gas bottles, Rinnai Cozyglow 650 gas heating, hooded BBQ, portable air conditioner, 200L fuel tank, 640L blackwater storage, 320L greywater sink storage, plus a Storm Plastic EPA approved filter system.

Propulsion is by a Honda 40Hp four stroke outboard motor with only 627Hrs.

This houseboat was last slipped in August 2021, having pontoons cleaned and fully painted with marine anti-corrosive Intertuf, plus an insurance risk assessment report completed and passed. This vessel is also fully Gas, EPA, and Electrical compliant.
