Dream Catcher is a large 20M houseboat with loads of potential. If you are looking for a live-aboard vessel that you can move onto and cater for all the family and friends, and is full of opportunities, you might have just found what you are looking for right here.
Built in 1984 Dream Catcher is a custom-built houseboat, having industry preferred Speight Aluminium pontoons as its foundation. Last slipped in 2020 at the Mannum Slipway for an out of water inspection.
On-boarding you notice the massive shaded front timber deck, allowing plenty of space to entertain, dine, or gather for Happy Hour, whilst parked up on the banks of the Mighty Murray.
Entering the deckhouse, it is light-filled with large windows and glassed sliding door entry. It's retro style fittings and furnishings remind you of your parents first home in the 70's. The helm is located on the starboard side, with Hydrive hydraulic steering, all standard Yamaha instrumentation, and a Pioneer CD stereo. Loads of room for people to lounge around and dine within. For the winter months there is a cosy Maxi-heat combustion fireplace that will heat the boat comfortably.
The large laminate kitchen follows the same 70's theme, featuring a large Hisense 490L fridge/freezer, Westinghouse stove/oven/grill, LG microwave, plenty of bench, cupboard, and drawer space.
There are two king size bedrooms, the primary has sponsons glass sliding door deck access, built-in robes, and both are fully carpeted.
The large bathroom has a moulded shower, vanity, linen press, and provisions for a washer and dryer if required. Aft is the separate marine toilet.
At the rear portside is a storage/workshop area, which could easily convert to a bunk room if needed.
At the stern is the enclosed party room, with double glassed sliding doors, ladder/hatch access to the roof, sofa beds, and carpet floor tiles throughout. This area could also be utilised to accommodate extra guests if required.
Propulsion is by two Yamaha 80hp fuel injected four stroke outboard motors with only 1,885hrs use.
