This is "Aozora".
We have for sale a 30 ft, generous beam, double chine professionally built (to a well known designer's plans) steel hulled yacht with a story. The yacht is presently on a custom made sturdy steel cradle designed for secure storage and transport and is situated on a property in the Ipswich area.
The owner was in the process of converting the vessel from a fixed keel yacht to a drop keel yacht to make coastal shallow bar anchorages more accessible for his intended Northern cruise.
Unfortunately the conversion was interrupted by the failure of the owner's health. The keel (ballasted) has been removed from the boat but could be reinstalled.
No hull frames nor any other part of the hull were affected by the removal of the keel.
The mast and rigging of the boat were removed for the transport of the boat to its present location.
The interior wooden fittings including bulkheads and furnishings were also removed for storage.
The boat has a 30 hp diesel engine and a folding propeller.
