At its heart lies a Yarrow style steam boiler paired with a German steam engine equipped with a Stevenson's link, currently powered by red gum timber.

An auxillary 25 hp Yamaha engine, to facilitate easy manouvering of the vessel, with out having to power up the boiler, is also fitted to the rear starboard side.

The boat provides a forward wheelhouse on the upper deck, a rear saloon providing basic accomodation facilities on the main deck and a spacious outdoor upper deck, making it suitable for both leisurely day trips and nightime cruises. There is an opportunity to extend the roof over the rear of the upper deck to provide more all weather protection for guests.
