Such is the aura around the Duck that part of her regular crew purchased the vessel as soon as it became available then cruised extensively up the East Coast of Aust.
The original design brief was for a performance "cruiser/club racer" that would compete well across all aspects of the local racing calendar, Braggy was a highly regarded competitor who ensured the boat was always up to standard in terms of maintenance and equipment, which the current owner has continued to do with recent upgrades including NEW STANDING RIGGING PLUS NEW HEADSAIL FURLER IN 2023, significant upgrades to the electrics and electronics, including NEW BATTERIES IN 2023 including 1 x engine start and 2 house, 12V System through out (re-wired onto three circuits for redundancy - engine, house, and autopilot), NEW 2024 Class B AIS (transmits and receives), NEW 2024 VHF Radio, NEW 2023 Raymarine Autopilot (with spare ram), new Maxwell Anchor electric winch in 2023.
A well maintained 37hp Nanni Diesel provides easy otoring at 6.5 knots.
